Just like most people, the new year brings new goals for me both personally and professionally. One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to make more of an effort to spread my knowledge of training and nutrition. One of the ways I am going to do that is through my own personal blog outlining some insight on my own training and how you can add/tweak your own training with some tips. The internet is full of "gurus" that have weekend certifications, spitting out nonsense about training that is far from the truth. On the other hand, there are some extremely knowledgeable people who shape my training and the training I create for my clients including Eliteft, TNation, and many more (which I will touch on and reference in a lot of my blogging).
My blog is going to be dedicated to real training techniques and theories we use at Elite Custom Fitness, the reasoning behind why we do those things, and how we implement those techniques and theories into each individualized training program. One of the ways I would say we differ from other gyms at ECF is our ability to break down basic training moIt is like the old saying, "give a man a fish feed him for the day, but teach a man how to fish and feed him for life". Knowledge is power, and that power is priceless. That is what I want to try to accomplish with all of my clients and everyone who reads my posts.

I am an avid reader of training and fitness blogs and articles, so believe me when I say I will find you the answers you are looking for if I don't have the ability to answer them myself.
Between Jessica, Coach Spicer, and myself, we are also going to be keeping up-to-date training logs to give everyone a little insight on each of our training programs. Although we all have the same beliefs with our individual training, we definitely differ on our end points, which will give everyone some insight on how much variation there can be depending on your goals. Just like our gym family, I want this website and blog to be an open forum where we can learn from each other and get the results we desire. Also, Jess will be posting a lot of healthy recipes and nutritional posts as well that will be great for nutritional guidance to go with your training.
